Hazrat Ali was the fourth caliph of Islam, and a close companion of the Prophet Muhammad. He was born in Mecca in 598 CE, and was known for his wisdom, bravery, and knowledge of the Quran. He was the first male to convert to Islam and was considered by many to be the rightful successor to the Prophet Muhammad after his death. Hazrat Ali was also known for his battles against the Arab tribes and his role in the establishment of the first Islamic state in Medina.
