The MK Foundation, in collaboration with its cyber community partners, has delivered a full fleet of vehicles to support strategic operations for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. According to the latest reports, the 6th Border Guard Detachment has received 50 vehicles, including minibuses, to be utilized directly by the border guards in their operational duties within the combat zone.
In a ceremony held in the Volyn region, an official handover event took place, marking the transfer of vehicles to the military. The military expressed their gratitude for the exceptional quality of the minibuses, acknowledging their potential to significantly enhance operational effectiveness. Alexander Osoka, the Director of the MK Foundation, reiterated the primary goal of the initiative in his speech: to expedite Ukraine’s success by ensuring the military is adequately equipped with essential resources.
Colonel Roman Kosmina, Deputy Head of the Sixth Border Guard Volyn Detachment for Arms and Equipment, extended his appreciation to the volunteers for supplying Volkswagen T5s to the border guards. These vans were deemed highly suitable for operations in the combat zone due to their spacious and maneuverable design. Additionally, their essential camouflage features make it challenging for the enemy to detect such vehicles.
The border guards also emphasized the versatility of Volkswagen T5s, highlighting their ability to perform various tasks, including transporting cargo and evacuating the wounded.
The MK Foundation consistently provides military units with vehicles and maintains direct communication with border guards. The vehicles supplied precisely meet the border guards’ specifications, tailored to their unique requirements. Collaborating frequently with the NAVI e-sports team and the developers of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, the foundation extends aid to the military. To date, the foundation has successfully delivered over 160 vehicles to various military units, supporting the First, Third, Fourth, and Eleventh Vedu Brigades. Committed to its mission, the organization actively prepares for additional deliveries of minibuses to enhance military support.
